Zinc prices raised, lead rates cut

Hindustan Zinc Ltd increased the price of zinc and cut the price of lead to match global rates. The price of zinc was increased 1.7 per cent to Rs 77,400 a tonne, the Udaipur-based company, said on its Web site. The company usually revises prices every Thursday and Saturday. Lead was lowered by 2.3 per cent to Rs 80,800 a tonne.
