Tin improves on global cues

Metal prices firmed up smartly on the non-ferrous metal market on Thursday on renewed industrial demand coupled with higher advices from London Metal Exchange (LME). Tin shot up by Rs 15 a kg to Rs 705 and nickel by Rs 10 a kg to Rs 655. Zinc and copper sheets cutting rose by Rs 3 a kg each to Rs 83 and Rs 211 respectively.
