China refined copper imports down

Refined copper imports by China, the world's largest consumer of the metal, dropped 15 per cent in January from the previous month, customs data showed. China bought 180,490 tonnes of the metal and exported 280 tonnes last month, the Beijing-based customs office said, citing revised final data. Imports were 211,527 tonnes in December, according to customs data.
