Hind Zinc raises silver prices

Hindustan Zinc on Wednesday said it has increased prices of silver by Rs 450 to Rs 21,200 a kg. Silver metal is used in electrical contacts and conductors, mirrors and in catalysts for chemical reactions. Its amalgamations are used in dental fillings. It is also used in soldering activities. The price revision is effective from today, a company circular said.
