The Russian government foreign trade protection and tariff policy committee has decided to support the abolition of the 5 per cent unalloyed nickel export duty and the 10 per cent copper cathodes export duty, the government press service announced on Monday. The decision now needs final approval by the government. The government press service said the decision was made "taking into account the significant current fall in nickel and copper world prices."
