Copper firms up, nickel declines

Copper prices firmed up on good industrial demand while nickel and tin declined on lack of buying enquiries on the non-ferrous metal market on Monday. In copper, sheets cutting firmed up by Rs 4 a kg to Rs 184, cable scrap up by Rs 3 a kg to Rs 188, scrap heavy by Rs 3 a kg to Rs 187, armature by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 185 and wire bar by Rs 3 a kg to Rs 216. Nickel dropped by Rs 10 a kg to Rs 650 and tin by Rs 10 a kg to Rs 715.
