Shanghai copper stocks down 16%

Copper inventories in warehouses monitored by the Shanghai Futures Exchange fell 16 per cent in the week ended Thursday, while aluminium inventories fell 2 per cent, the exchange said on Friday. Copper inventories fell to 15,326 tonnes from 18,192 tonnes the previous week. Aluminium inventories fell to 206,515 tonnes from 209,916 tonnes the week before. Zinc inventories fell to 63,534 tonnes from 64,536 tonnes the previous week.
