Hind Zinc raises lead prices

Hindustan Zinc Ltd raised lead prices for the second time in eight days to match global rates. The price was increased by Rs.6,300 rupees, or 5.3 per cent, to Rs.126,200 rupees($3,119) a tonne, the Udaipur-based company said in an e-mailed statement. The Company last cut prices by 1.7 per cent on Jun e 23. Zinc prices were kept unchanged at Rs.157,800 a tonne.
