Mixed trend in metal prices

Prices of tin and brass declined on the non-ferrous metal market here on Wednesday due to lack of industrial demand coupled with lower advices from London Metal Exchange (LME). While, nickel, lead, copper, zinc and aluminium moved up on good demand from industrial users. Tin dropped by Rs 32/kg to 730 from yesterday's Rs 762. Brass utensils scrap also moved down by Rs 3/kg to Rs 147 and brass sheets cutting by a rupee/kg to Rs 151. However, nickel rose by Rs 5/kg to Rs 670, lead by Rs 4/kg to Rs 74, copper sheets cutting by Rs 4/kg to Rs 181, copper armiture by Rs 3/kg to Rs 183 and copper scrap heavy by Rs 2/kg to Rs 184. Copper cable scrap, copper utensils scrap, copper wire bar, aluminium utensils scrap and zinc also ended higher by a rupee/kg to Rs 186, Rs 170, Rs 214, Rs 75 and Rs 69 respectively.
