Zinc stockpiles at 1-1/2 year high

Zinc stockpiles climbed to the highest since May 2006 on the London Metal Exchange. The LME-tracked inventories rose 18,900 tonnes, or 8.1 per cent, to 253,625 tonnes, the exchange said on Wednesday. It was the biggest advance in a year.
