Copper firm on global cues

Prices of copper and brass firmed up smartly in a mixed non-ferrous metal market on Monday on good demand from industrial users on the back of firm global cues. Tin and nickel moved down on lack of industrial support. Copper utensils scrap firmed up by Rs 12 a kg to Rs 166, copper scrap heavy by Rs 11 a kg to Rs 180, copper armature by Rs 11 a kg to Rs 176, copper sheets cutting by Rs 11 a kg to Rs 175, copper cable scrap by Rs 10 a kg to Rs 181, copper wire bar by Rs 5 a kg to Rs 205, brass utensils scrap by Rs 4 a kg Rs 142 and brass sheets cutting by Re 1 a kg to Rs 150. However, tin dropped by Rs 15 a kg to Rs 775 and nickel by Rs 5 a kg to Rs 670.
