Nickel moves up on demand

A mixed trend was noticed on the non-ferrous metal market on Monday. Nickel, tin, aluminium, lead and zinc moved up due to good industrial demand coupled higher advices from London Metal Exchange (LME). Nickel, tin and lead rose by Rs 5 a kg each to Rs 685, Rs 810 and Rs 80 respectively. Aluminium utensils scrap also moved up by Rs 4 a kg to Rs 93 and zinc by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 70. Copper utensils scrap fell by Rs 18 a kg to Rs 200. Brass utensils scrap declined by Rs 6 a kg to Rs 160, copper sheets cutting by Rs 5 a kg to Rs 215, brass sheets cutting by Rs 4 a kg to Rs 166, copper cable scrap by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 223 and copper wire bar by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 251.
