Tin prices firm up

Prices of tin firmed up further in a mixed non-ferrous metal market on Wednesday due to sustained industrial demand. Tin shot up further by Rs 20 a kg to Rs 850 and lead also moved up by Rs 3 a kg to Rs 93. Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy and copper wire bar declined by Rs 3 a kg each to Rs 241, Rs 238 and Rs 269 respectively. Copper sheets cutting and brass sheets cutting also ended lower by Re 1 a kg each to Rs 233 and Rs 171 respectively.
