Zinc firm on buying support

Prices of brass, nickel, aluminium and copper sheets cutting declined in a mixed non-ferrous metal market on Monday. Copper and zinc firmed up on good industrial buying support. Brass utensils scrap dropped by Rs 9 a kg to Rs 166, brass sheets cutting by Rs 8 a kg to Rs 172, nickel by Rs 5 a kg to Rs 700, aluminium utensils scrap by Rs 4 a kg to Rs 90 and copper sheets cutting by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 231. Copper scrap heavy rose by Rs 5 a kg to Rs 237. Copper cable scrap, copper utensils and copper wire bar moved up by Rs 4 a kg each to Rs 240, Rs 224 and Rs 268 respectively.
