Copper declines on lack of demand

Metal prices declined moderately on the non-ferrous metal market on Monday on lack of demand from industrial users while aluminium edged up on mild industrial support. Tin fell by Rs 10 a kg to Rs 1,070, Copper armature by Rs 4 a kg to Rs 357 and copper scrap heavy by Rs 3 a kg to Rs 361. Copper cable scrap, copper utensils scrap, copper wire bar and copper sheets cutting moved down by Rs 2 a kg each to Rs 366, 341, 394 and 354 respectively. Brass utensils scrap and zinc ended lower by Re 1 a kg each to Rs 251 and Rs 102 respectively. Aluminium utensils scrap looked up by Re 1 a kg to Rs 108 from Rs 107.
