Asian rubber futures settled mixed in thin, range- bound trade on Tuesday. On the Shanghai Futures Exchange, rubber futures settled mixed, though the benchmark contract ended the day a tad higher tracking overnight gains in crude oil.

But the market found resistance at CNY21,000 a tonne. RSS3 futures on the Agricultural Futures Exchange of Thailand settled marginally up, supported by overnight gains in crude and steady spot market prices, said a trader in Bangkok. Trade was very thin with just 332 lots exchanged.
