Steel scraps down on weak demand

The scraps and ingot segment depicted a weak trend in the local market on Monday on reduced offtake by re-rolling steel units. In the scrap section, Bhivari and Govindgarh traded sharply lower at Rs 35,500 and Rs 35,800 a tonne respectively.
