Tin prices decline further

Prices of tin declined further on the local non-ferrous metal market on Wednesday on lack of industrial demand coupled with lower advices from London Metal Exchange (LME). Copper cable scrap, copper wire bar and brass inched up on mild industrial support. Tin fell by Rs 25 a kg to Rs 1,095, nickel by Rs 25 a kg to Rs 985, zinc by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 103, copper armature by Re 1 a kg to Rs 366 and copper sheets cutting by Re 1 a kg to Rs 362. Copper cable scrap, copper wire bar and brass utensils scrap ended higher by Re 1 a kg each to Rs 376, Rs 404 and Rs 251 respectively.
