Metals decline on weak LME

Prices of tin, copper, brass, lead and aluminium declined on the local non-ferrous metal market on Tuesday on lack of industrial demand coupled with lower advices from London Metal Exchange (LME). Nickel also moved down in absence of demand from industrial users. Tin dropped by Rs 25 a kg to Rs 1,120, nickel by Rs 10 a kg to Rs 1,010, copper cable scrap by Rs 7 a kg to Rs 375, copper wire bar by Rs 7 a kg to Rs 403, copper scrap heavy by Rs 7 a kg to Rs 370, copper armature by Rs 6 a kg to Rs 367, copper utensils scrap by Rs 6 a kg to Rs 345, copper sheets cutting by Rs 4 a kg to Rs 363, brass sheets cutting by Rs 3 a kg to Rs 262, lead by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 108, brass utensils scrap by Re 1 a kg to Rs 250 and aluminium utensils scrap by RE 1 a kg to Rs 111.
