Nickel declines on global cues

Prices of tin and nickel declined in a mixed non-ferrous metal market on Friday on lower advices from London Metal Exchange (LME). Copper, brass, aluminium and zinc inched up on mild industrial demand. Tin dropped by Rs 10 a kg to Rs 1,145 from Rs 1,155, nickel fell by Rs 5 a kg to Rs 1,025 from Rs 1,035, lead by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 110 from Rs 112 and brass sheets cutting to Rs 266 a kg from Rs 267. Copper cable scrap inched up to Rs 386 a kg, copper scrap heavy to Rs 381 a kg, copper wire bar to Rs 414, brass utensils scrap to Rs 252 a kg, zinc to Rs 106 a kg and aluminium utensils scrap to Rs 113 a kg.
