Sharp fall in nickel, aluminium

Prices of nickel, aluminium, copper and zinc fell sharply on the non-ferrous metal market on Friday on lack of demand from industrial users. Nickel dropped further by Rs 40 a kg to Rs 1,060, aluminium ingots by Rs 5 a kg to Rs 145, copper cable scrap by Rs 3 a kg to Rs 382, copper scrap heavy by Rs 3 a kg to Rs 377, copper wire bar by Rs 3 a kg to Rs 410, copper armature by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 372, brass sheets cutting by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 267 and aluminium utensils scrap by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 113.
