Long – term nickel forecast raised

UBS AG, Europe’s largest bank by assets, raised its “long-term” price forecast for nickel, citing increasing production costs. The bank forecast the metal’s price at $7 a pound from 2010 onwards, compared with $4.50 previously, London-based analysts Mr. Paul Galloway and Grant Sporre said in a report.
