Copper stocks down in Shanghai

Copper inventories in warehouses monitored by the Shanghai Futures Exchange fell 3 per cent in the week ended on Thursday, while aluminium inventories rose 2 per cent, the exchange said on Friday. Copper inventories fell to 32,401 tonnes from 33,417 tonnes the previous week. Aluminium inventories rose to 1,82,986 tonnes from 1,79,886 tonnes the week before. Zinc inventories fell to 67,728 tonnes from 67,960 tonnes the previous week.
