Metals up on industrial demand

Prices of tin, copper, aluminium, brass and zinc firmed up smartly on the non-ferrous metal market due to good demand from industrial users while nickel moved down on lack of support. Tin rose by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,160, copper cable scrap by Rs 3 a kg to Rs 388, copper wirebar by Rs 3a kg to Rs 416, aluminium ingots by Rs 3 a kg to Rs 149, copper scrap heavy by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 382 and brass sheets cutting by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 269.
