Metals fall on global trend

The wholesale prices of metals fell up to Rs 10 a kg on Thursday in the local market on stockists selling, triggered by weak global markets. Traders said reports of weakness at London Metal Exchange (LME) after base metals' inventories rose significantly, pressured prices on the domestic markets. Zinc ingot prices fell by Rs 3 at Rs 113 per kg. Nickel plate 4x4 continued to remain weak and lost another Rs 10 at Rs 1,210-1,300 per kg.
