Thai rubber output may rise 1.3%

rubber output from Thailand, the world’s largest exporter, may rise 1.3 per cent this year, according to the Thai Rubber Association. Production may increase to 3.1 million tonnes in 2008, from 3.06 mt last year, Mr Luckchai Kittipol, President of the Thai Rubber Association, said on Wednesday at a conference in Shanghai.
