Copper gains on global trend

Prices displayed a mixed pattern of trading on the non-ferrous metal market on Friday as nickel reacted downwards on lack of industrial demand while copper, brass and zinc moved up on industrial buying support coupled with higher global advices. Nickel dropped by Rs.25 per kg to Rs.1,900 from Rs.1,925. Copper wire bar firmed up by Rs.4 per kg to 385, copper cable scrap by Rs.3 per kg to Rs.355, copper sheets cutting by Rs.3 per kg to Rs.340, copper scrap heavy to Rs.2 per kg to Rs.347, copper armature by Rs.2 per kg to Rs.342, copper utensils scrap by Rs.2 per kg to Rs.312, brass utensils scrap by Rs.2 per kg to Rs.255, brass sheets cutting by Rs.2 per kg to Rs.270 per kg.
