Nickel gains on industrial demand

Nickel recovered smartly on the local non-ferrous metal market on Thursday on fresh industrial demand. Copper, brass, aluminium and zinc also moved up good industrial demand coupled with higher global advices. Nickel hardened by Rs.35 per kg to Rs.1,925 from Rs.1,890, copper cable scrap by Rs.4 per kg to Rs.352, copper scrap heavy by Rs.3 per kg to Rs.345, copper wire bar by Rs.3 per kg to Rs.381, copper armature by Rs.2 per kg to Rs.340, copper utensils scrap by Rs.2 per kg to Rs.310, copper sheets cutting by Rs.2 per kg to Rs.22\\337, brass utensils scrap by Re.1 to Rs.253 per kg, brass sheets cutting by Re.1 to Rs.268 per kg, aluminium ingots by Re.1 to Rs.140 per kg and zinc by Re.1 to Rs.191 per kg. However, lead eased to Rs.101 per kg from Rs.102 previously.
