Mixed trend in metal prices

Prices of nickel, zinc, brass and copper armiture firmed up in a mixed non-ferrous metal market. Nickel shot up by Rs 35 per kg to Rs 1,460, brass sheets cutting by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 265, copper armiture by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 356, zinc by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 126 and aluminium utensils scrap by a rupee per kg to Rs 111. However, tin fell by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 905, copper cable scrap by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 370, copper utensils scrap by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 328 and copper wirebar by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 398.
