Nickel, copper firm on global cues

Prices of nickel and copper firmed up in a mixed non-ferrous metal market on Wednesday due to good industrial demand coupled with higher advices from London Metal Exchange (LME). Nickel firmed up by Rs 15 per kg to Rs 1,420, copper scrap heavy by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 360, copper armature by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 352, copper sheets cutting by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 347, copper utensils scrap by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 328, copper wire bar by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 394, copper cable scrap by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 366 and brass utensils scrap by Re 1 per kg to Rs 251.
