COMMODITY: Electrolytic grade “A’ Standard Copper Cathodes
SPECIFICATIONS: 99.99% pure (rejection below 99.95%)(see Annex I)
DIMENSIONS: 914mmx914mmx12mm (36”x36”x.5”apr.)
WEIGHT: each sheet weighs apr. 125kg
ORIGIN: Seller’s option, Brazil & Africa
AVAILABILITY: up to 48,000 MT per year (4,000MT per month, first shipment to
commence within 15/20 days after receipt and confirmation of
financial instrument by Seller’s bank)
PACKING: The copper cathodes are packed on aluminum pallets of 2 MT each
that are loaded in 20 feet containers (apr. 22 MT each).
DESTINATION: CIF ASWP
PRICE: CIF ASWP- LME minus 12% as of the date of contract signing
INSPECTION: at Seller’s expense at loading port by SGS, CIQ or equivalent, at
Buyer’s expense at unloading port.
PAYMENT: Irrevocable, Transferable, Unconditional, divisible, Assignable &
confirmed prime bank Guarantee/Standby letter of Credit
which will act as a collateral security guarantee. Payment to be
made by SWIFT MT 103/23 cash wire transfer at unloading port
against presentation of shipping documents
OR
Transferable, Irrevocable, Revolving Documentary letter of
Credit payable 100% at loading port against presentation of
shipping documents.

PROCEDURES
1. Buyer issues LOI.
2. Seller sends FCO.
3. Buyer signs & returns along with BCL.
4. Seller prepares Draft Contract. Buyer reviews, signs & returns to Seller
5. Seller signs Draft Contract and sends to Buyer.
6. Buyer and Seller exchange hard copies via courier. Emailed/faxed copies will
be considered as hard copies until the originals have been exchanged.
7. Seller’s bank issues Proof of Product (POP) to Buyer’s bank
8. Within 10 banking days, Buyer’s bank issues the non operative financial instrument in favor of seller
9.Seller isssues2% Performance Bond which activates the buyers non operative instrument.
10. Within 15/20 days after receipt and confirmation of the BG/SBLC or DLC Seller
ships the product. Seller’s representative shall travel and attend final
inspection at unloading port.

11. Upon arrival at unloading port, Buyer appointed surveyor company re-inspects
product.

12. Payment is made after re-inspection & presentation of shipping documents (if
BG/SBLC).
