Bee’ah is a leading and award-winning fully integrated environment and waste management company located in Sharjah, UAE. We recover and produce a variety of recyclable materials from plastics, metals, paper and cardboard, to crumb rubber and recycled rubber tiles.
The major recyclable materials we operate on are paper, plastic, rubber, metal and glass scraps.
We offer aluminium, electronic scrap, glass scrap and metal scrap. We also offer paper scrap in forms of baled cardboard and loose; plastics like board, HDPE (High-density polyethylene), LDPE (Low-density polyethylene), MDPE (Medium-density polyethylene), mixed, PET, polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polythene and PE Film (polyethylene film); and rubber in forms of granules, rubble tyres, and crumb. We also provide services like collection and storage, recycling, city beautification, education and outreach, landfill re-engineering and policy development.
We collect plastic, aluminum and paper recyclables by segregation from general municipal waste processed at the material recovery facility in the Bee’ah waste management complex; by collection from the 1,750 pedestrian three-stream recycler bins placed throughout the Sharjah; through Bee’ah’s in-office recycling programs (blue bins) and through residential building recycling programs (blue totes); and through Bee’ah’s recyclable reverse vending machines situated in high footfall areas in Sharjah.

Our mission is to bring the most innovative recycling programs to the Emirate of Sharjah. We are always exploring ways to facilitate recycling for the residents of Sharjah. Our goal is to achieve 100% landfill diversion target that is set for Sharjah by 2015.
We pursue to establish the Bee’ah Environmental Research Institute aimed at promoting environmental research and advocacy.
The awards which we received are 2011 Facilities Management award for ‘Best Waste Management Company’, Arabia Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) award for best CSR Special Project, Hamriyah Free Zone – ‘Top 3 Award’ in recognition of Bee’ah’s “Green Services”, Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) award in appreciation of Bee’ah’s support to the UAE environment, Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA) as valued partner in environmental protection, Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry award for Bee’ah’s economic and environmental contributions, the 10th Annual Ceremony to honor training organizations-University of Sharjah, Al Qasba award in appreciation for Bee’ah’s contribution towards its success, Khalifa University – Spokesperson of Choice & In recognition of Bee’ah’s teaching culture and training programs and appreciation awards for Ministry of Interior and Family Development Center.
We believe that the key to economic recovery is optimizing the usage of our country’s resources; and Bee’ah has already started with the concern of waste, by investing over 300 million dirhams to date in tools and infrastructure to overcome the UAE’s challenges. We are in the process of gearing up towards a 100% landfill diversion target set for the Emirate of Sharjah by the end of the first quarter of 2015.
