Glass Recycling is the process of changing the broken or unused glass materials into new reusable glass materials. It includes the materials wasted in households, shops and also in industries at the time of manufacturing glass objects. Before the undergoing the process the glass should be separated from metal or plastic products and color. Glass attains own color after recycling. The waste glasses are crushed into small pieces and mixed with raw materials and furnace to convert into molten state. The molten glass is then poured into forming machines and pressed to get the desired shape. After it gets cooled it is then tested and sends to various places. The recycling of glass reduces Co2 and fuel emissions. Recent statics shows that the secondary use of glass is increased to a large extent. The recycled glasses are found to be strength and shows good thermal insulation. Recycling saves land and the raw materials.
