To start with, you will need old pantyhose and imagination. Use strips to tie climbing plants like tomatoes, and at the bottom of pots to prevent excess water from escaping. Keep some in your car-they can replace a temporarily broken part in the bonnet of your car. It can also be used to strain old paint. Use it to keep onions/fruits fresh - the air allows them to stay fresh for longer. Keep them near your shoe polish - they're great for buffing. Use them to scrub your bathtub and sink - they won't scratch the surfaces. Fill the foot portion with old silvers of soap for a scrubbing pad. Experience with your camera lens with a piece of nylon to get softer-looking portraits; the filter effect will make skin imperfections disappear! Roll your clothes neatly to prevent them from wrinkling, then stuff them in in pantyhose legs to keep them from unraveling. They can be used over a skimmer (or old wire hanger) for trapping tiny particles while cleaning your pool...
