Nickel moves higher on buying

Prices of metals improved by Rs 2-5 per kg in the non-ferrous metal market on Monday following increased buying by stockists and consuming industries. Copper wire scrap, copper super d rod, copper wire bar, copper mixed scrap and c c rod rose by Rs 2 each at Rs 337, Rs 360, Rs 357, Rs 314 and Rs 352 a kg respectively. Nickel plate (4x4), (9x9) and (4x24) moved up by Rs 5 each to settle at Rs 1,325-1,435, Rs 1,330-1,445 and Rs 1,335-1,460 a kg respectively. -PTI
