Sharp rise in tin

Tin prices firmed up on the non-ferrous metal market on Wednesday due to good industrial demand coupled with higher advices from London Metal Exchange (LME). Tin shot up by Rs.20 per kg to Rs.795 from Rs.775. Nickel fell by Rs.30 per kg to Rs.1,400, copper scrap heavy by Rs.3 per kg to Rs.342 and copper armature by Rs.3 per kg to Rs.338.
