Metals down on global cues

Mumbai, Feb. 4 Metals reacted downwards on the non- ferrous metal market on Thursday due to heavy stockists selling following bearish trend in London Metal Exchange ( LME). Tin dropped by Rs 10 a kg to 905 and copper sheets cutting by Rs 9 a kg to Rs 322. Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armature, copper utensils scrap and copper wire bar all fell by Rs 8 a kg each to Rs 338, Rs 333, Rs 326, Rs 308 and Rs 366, respectively. Brass utensils scrap moved down by Rs 4 a kg to Rs 228 and brass sheets cutting by Rs 3 a kg to Rs 237. Zinc softened by Re 1 a kg to Rs 122. — PTI
