Metals recover on global cues

Metals recovered smartly on the non-ferrous metal market on Wednesday on fresh demand from stockists in view of firming of prices on London Metal Exchange (LME). Nickel rose by Rs 10 a kg to Rs 960 and copper sheets cutting by Rs 3 a kg to Rs 308. Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper utensils scrap, copper wire bar and brass utensils scrap moved up by Rs 2 a kg each to Rs 325, Rs 319, Rs 291, Rs 353 and Rs 220 respectively. Copper armature, brass sheets cutting, aluminium ingots and zinc also edged up by Re 1 a kg each to Rs 312, Rs 226, Rs 108 and Rs 123.
