Nickel gains on global cues

Prices of nickel, copper, lead, brass and aluminium moved up on the non-ferrous metal market on Monday on good industrial demand coupled with higher advices from London Metal Exchange (LME). Nickel, copper cable scrap, copper utensils scrap and copper wire bar rose by Rs 5 a kg each to Rs 695, Rs 222, Rs 202 and Rs 250 respectively. Copper scrap heavy moved up by Rs 4 a kg to Rs 220, copper sheets cutting by Rs 4 a kg to Rs 212, copper armature by Rs 3 a kg to Rs 216, lead by Rs 3 a kg to Rs 90 and brass utensils scrap by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 164.
