Vietnam is expected to export up to 300,000 tonnes of rubber in the fourth quarter of this year, little changed from last year, an industry official said on Tuesday. "Depending on export prices in the coming weeks, we forecast that Vietnam will export between 200,000 tonnes and 300,000 tonnes in the fourth quarter of this year," said Mr Dinh Van Tien, who is director of the export department of Vietnam Rubber Industry Group, which is the country's biggest rubber exporter. Falling prices of natural rubber in recent weeks have hurt earnings of the local rubber industry, Mr Tien said.
