Zinc declines a tad

Prices of nickel, lead and zinc declined moderately on the non-ferrous metal market on Friday in the absence of industrial demand coupled with lower advices from London Metal Exchange. Brass and copper armature also eased on mild industrial support. Nickel fell by Rs 15 a kg to Rs 1,065, lead by Rs 2 a kgo to Rs 105 and zinc by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 101. Brass utensils scrap, brass sheets cutting and copper armature also ended lower by Re 1 a kg each to Rs 252, Rs 265 and Rs 365 respectively.
