Nickel recovers on global trend

Prices of nickel recovered moderately on the local non-ferrous metal market on Thursday on fresh industrial demand coupled with higher advices from London Metal Exchange (LME). Nickel rose by Rs 25 a kg to Rs 1,010, tin by Rs 5 a kg to Rs 1,100, zinc by Re 1 a kg to Rs 104 and brass sheets cutting by Re 1 a kg to Rs 263. Copper cable scrap fell by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 374, copper wire bar by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 402, copper scrap heavy by Re 1 a kg to Rs 369
