Zinc moves up on global cues

Prices of zinc, lead and brass moved up moderately on the non-ferrous metal market on Tuesday due to good industrial demand coupled with higher advices from London Metal Exchange (LME). Copper scrap heavy and aluminium eased on lack of demand from industrial users. Zinc rose by Rs 5 a kg to Rs 107, lead by Rs 5 a kg to Rs 110, brass sheets cutting by Re 1 a kg to Rs 268 and copper armature by Re 1 a kg to Rs 376. Copper scrap heavy, aluminium ingots and aluminium utensils scrap all ended lower by Re 1 a kg each to Rs 381, Rs 150 and Rs 116 respectively.
