Aluminium output up in June

Daily average primary aluminium output in June rose to 70,700 tonnes compared with 70,600 in May and 67,800 in June 2007, provisional figures from the International Aluminium Institute (IAI) show. Total production in June (30 days) was 2.121 million tonnes, compared with 2.189 mt in May (31 days) and 2.034 mt in June 2007.
