Nickel firm on industrial demand

Prices of nickel, tin, copper and zinc firmed up smartly on the local non-ferrous metal market on Monday due to good industrial demand coupled with higher LME advices. Nickel hardened by Rs.10 per kg to Rs.1,910, tin by Rs.8 per kg to Rs.710, copper wire bar by Rs.4 per kg to Rs.387 per kg, copper scrap heavy by Rs.3 per kg to Rs.350, copper cable scrap by Rs.2 per kg to Rs.357.
