Tin rises on higher LME

Tin prices firmed up further in a mixed non-ferrous metal market on Tuesday on sustained industrial demand coupled with higher advices from London Metal Exchange (LME). Copper and zinc also moved up due to good industrial support. Lead, nickel, aluminium and brass sheets cutting declined lack of demand from industrial users. Tin hardened by Rs 45 per kg to Rs 1,130 from Rs 1,085. Copper utensils scrap moved up by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 333, copper sheets cutting by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 353, copper armature by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 355, copper cable scrap by Re 1 per kg to Rs 373, copper wire bar Re 1 per kg to Rs 401, brass utensils scrap by Re 1 per kg to Rs 253 and zinc by Re 1 per kg to Rs 115. Lead declined by Rs 6 per kg to Rs 121, nickel by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,320, brass sheets cutting by Re 1 per kg to Rs 262, aluminium ingots by Re 1 per kg to Rs 142 and aluminium utensils scrap by Re 1 per kg to Rs 110.
