Nickel rises on global cues

The wholesale prices of tin and nickel rose by up to Rs 50 a kg in the local market on Wednesday, taking cues from global markets and pick up in industrial demand. Tin ingot prices rose by Rs 50 to Rs 1,050 per kg mainly on rising prices in the metal at London Metal Exchange (LME). Nickel plate 4x4 traded Rs 30 higher at Rs 1,380-1,470 a kg.
