Zinc, lead gain on demand

The wholesale prices of zinc and lead rose by Rs 5 a kg on Tuesday in the local market on increased demand. Zinc ingot prices were up by Rs 5 at Rs 115 a kg, while zinc dross gained Rs 2 at Rs 100 a kg. Lead ingot (Hindustan) rose up by Rs 5 at Rs 130 a kg. Mumbai: Prices of tin, copper scrap heavy, copper sheets cutting and brass utensils scrap inched up on mild industrial demand. Tin firmed up by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,020, copper scrap heavy to Rs 365 per kg, copper sheets cutting to Rs 352 per kg and brass utensils scrap to Rs 254 per kg. Copper utensils scrap eased to Rs 328 per kg and lead to Rs 126 per kg.
