Malaysia tin drops $150 a tonne

The local tin market closed lower on Friday, but the trading volume increased compared with Thursday. Tin price on the Kuala Lumpur tin market closed at $16,000 per tonne, down $150 from Thursday. Turnover, however, increased to 45 tonnes from 22 tonnes on Thursday.
